Lagos State Government Demolishes Shops At Ikeja Computer Village

Just seven days after Lagos state government tweets about the forthcoming relocation of Ikeja computer village to Katangowa, there came today may 3 with heavily armed police officer supervising the demolition of the ICT and almost 18 shops have been demolished as other shops will follow.

However, a shop owner told premium times without revealing her identity that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode intends to use the space for a BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) park.
